Students took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) earlier this spring, and soon parents and guardians will receive assessment results. The state assessment is one of many ways to measure student learning. Teachers will use STAAR results along with other information to support student learning in the new school year.
Beginning June 7 for STAAR end-of-course assessments and June 14 for STAAR grades 3–8 assessments, STAAR results will be viewable by logging into Skyward Family Access.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week and we're sharing your shout-outs for your favorite teachers! APHS parent Kimber nominates Ms. Sasin: "Mrs. Sasin goes above and beyond for her students. She is fully invested in her (children) students, and truly cares about their future. She helps not only the students, but also the parents realize just what our kids are capable of. We are lucky and so thankful for all she invests in our children". Thank you Ms. Sasin! #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WeAreAP

It's Teacher Appreciation Week and we're sharing your shout-outs for your favorite teachers! APHS alumna Lilly nominates Mr. Schneider: "Mr. Schneider goes above and beyond for our Aransas Pass High School Panther Band! He has put in so many years of hard work and dedication for the band to succeed as much as it has. He has put in so many hours of his own personal time to help the band get in extra practice. Mr. Schneider’s school year starts a whole month before the actual school year because of band camp, which he spends teaching the incoming freshman band members how to march and the marching show for the upcoming school year. I was in band from 6-12th grade and truly loved being in band, it would not have been that way if it weren’t for Schnieder’s effort and amazing teaching and heart he has for his students and the band. He was also nice enough to dress as Gru on character day while his students dressed like minions!" Thank you Mr. Schneider! #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WeAreAP

She’s also such a crafty woman who makes amazing things and will add a touch of glitter and beauty. Very proud to be an alumni thespian & color member of hers, I couldn’t ask for anyone better! " Thank you Ms. Viar! #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WeAreAP
