In this book the main character is named Timmy Failure. He has this polar bear named Total and a friend from school named Rollo. He says he has this business which he calls CEO but I think its just friends that calls him to figure out things. His business is in his mom's closet. In the book there was other characters like Corrina, who he doesn't like, Gunner, and Gunner's brother Gabe. His mom has this segway and he loses it then he lies about it. Part of the way into the book he has to move because they don't have much money to stay in their house. So he had to start doing his business outside of his apartment cause there was no space inside. Then he started to make bad grades so he had to stop his business and get rid of Total.

It didn't have a lot of words on each page, the chapters were very short. I think the book was a really good one. I liked it but in some parts I didn't really get what was happening overall it was good. I also wish that there were more words than pictures.

I particularly enjoyed this book because at the age that I am at now it relates to me, and kids my age. The age I suggest for this book is ten and up because it relates to that age group. It's a comical book. I strongly recommend this book.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

Greg Heffley isn't the most popular or liked kid in his school, he doesn't have much friends from his school. The only friend he has is his best friend Rowley Jefferson. This time of the month he doesn't have to worry about school though. Greg is on summer vacation and while everyone is enjoying the outside summer weather, Greg is playing video games all day. His mom doesn't approve of his gaming behavior and wants him to be more active. His mom decides to take away his games and makes family summer vacations. While he is on the vacation he meets this pretty girl named Holly at the pool. Holly is older than Greg but he still falls for her anyway. The summer went by quickly, school had now begun. On the first day back Greg notices that Holly transferred to his school. He tries to build up the courage to go and talk to her, but it never builds up. One day Holly notices Greg and mistakes him for Freggley. Fregley is that one weird kid in school that no one would want to be mistaken for. A couple weeks later Greg runs into Holly and confronts her about her mistake. Holly felt super horrible and apologized for her mistake.

This book was okay, I wouldn't say it is the best book out of the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series. I prefer the movie instead of the book in my opinion. I rarely prefer movies over books but I will say that the movie was better. I am pretty shocked that I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I thought I would, I always enjoy the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books.
